Hi Everyone,

It is very exciting to see how supporters are inviting their friends to join in. I attach an e-mail from Dave Batchelor, the father of our front page featured snowboarder Jeff Batchelor.  David has given us permission to share this e-mail that he sent to his friends. Please have a look and think about the message that you can send to your conatct list.  David Armour Canadian Olympic Foundation

Subject:This ask is simple

Dear Friends, Clients and Business Partners,

As many of you may know, my 20 year old son Jeff has been training and competing at the World Cup level in snowboard half pipe for the past 4 years to earn his spot to represent Canada at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, a dream he has held since watching the 1998 games at the age of 10.

This is an exciting time for him, but as for all athletes, there is still much training and preparation to do in order to achieve podium success for our country. With this, comes a great cost, I can assure you with first-hand experience.

Now, the Canadian Olympic Foundation is reaching out to help Canada’s athletes by raising funds that will go directly toward supporting our athletes and their dreams and I would ask, that you consider helping, knowing that your Canadian athletes will be forever appreciative.

Just recently, the Canadian Olympic Foundation announced Canada’s Olympic campaign that was launched on February 19th, 2009.

$20.10 for 2010!

The ask is simple. Please visit  www.olympicfoundation.ca to donate $20.10 to support our Canadian Olympic hopefuls and their quest for gold at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

10 friends for 2010!

Our athletes can only be their very best in 2010 if they have support from as many people as possible. Please forward this message onto at least 10 friends, coworkers or relatives with the request that they join you by also giving $20.10.

You can also join our new online community and share your Olympic experiences and views, connect with athletes and talk to other supporters.

Together we have one nation, one team and one mission: Podium Success.

Visit  www.olympicfoundation.ca

Thank you for helping!

Dave Batchelor
